After living at this Carnation estate for 12 years, Majdi and Dana Daher have listed their beloved home in Blakely Woods for $3 million.
Windermere Brokers John Kritsonis and Karl Lindor have the listing.
He and his wife were looking for privacy and they found it — almost four acres of it — completely fenced, gated and secure, with a Tuscan-style manse that spans 9,464 square feet of pure luxury.
The Dahers have used the estate to not only raise their two daughters, but to entertain on a large scale.
“We bought the house from a couple who built it in 1999, and we have done quite a bit of work, installing the pool, sports court, tree house, pool house and so much more. This house is really built for entertaining,” Majdi said.
The couple has hosted many charity fundraisers, other events and gatherings there as well.
“Multiple social events,” Majdi added. “The house is really designed to host and entertain large numbers of folks.”
Both he and Dana point to one-of-a kind touches such as the original mosaic work in the pool, the pool house, the newly remodeled kitchen and throughout the bathrooms.
“My wife personally designed and furnished the house,” Majdi said. “She put a lot of great chandeliers around the house – the lighting is amazing. There’s a central sound system, columns and pillars throughout, and an openness to it because the rooms are large and flow into each other. Everything is connected.”
The manse has five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The MLS description reads: “Cathedral ceilings, interior columns and hand-painted murals transport you to the Tuscan countryside while the home theater, gym, sports court and sauna radiate luxury. Relax poolside from your private outdoor oasis with entertainer’s veranda, second kitchen and 3.94 acres of lush grounds. Epicurean kitchen with Italian range, mosaic tile, granite and butlers pantry/wine cellar. Master suite with luxe bath and private balcony. Four-car garage.”
The Dahers are staying in the area, but moving their family to the Lake Sammamish waterfront.
