THIS Incredible $5.5 Million Private Submarine Can Dive A Mile Deep Underwater

TRITON 6600/2 Submarine Will Let You Join The Mile Deep Club.

If scuba diving is too mainstream for you, take a look at the new two-passenger Triton 6600/2 submarine.

Triton 6600/2 is a special submersible indeed.

In complete comfort and  safety, you and a passenger can dive to depths of a mile deep. Discover parts of the ocean unexplored by man and witness the incredible lives of the inhabitants of the deep.

This submarine weighs a mere 250 kg which, if you can believe it, makes this underwater beast lighter than most Harley Davidson bikes.

Triton 6600/2 submarineIt also has the ability to dive up to 6600 feet (over a mile), and it is capable of zipping through the waters at a maximum speed of 3 knots.

To produce the acrylic pressure hull for the Triton 6600/2 – which is the thickest ever made – our acrylic technology partners developed a completely new manufacturing technique.

The Triton 6600/2 can dive more than a mile deep, making it the world’s deepest diving submersible with a transparent pressure hull.

Triton 6600/2 submarineThe spherical acrylic hull is optically perfect, and offers the same comfort and safety that has made Triton Submarines the most successful submersible manufacturer on the planet.

The transparent hull is made of polymethyl methacrylate and it is the thickest ever made, resulting in the world’s deepest diving sub with a transparent hull.

To light up your way during your dive, this sub comes standard with six 20,000-lumen lights.

The Triton 6600/2 has several power sources, two of them being a 24 V battery (6 kWh) and a 120 V battery (25 kWh). A PLC-base touch screen allows users to control the underwater vessel and there is enough oxygen for 12 hours in the main oxygen tank.

Available at a $5.5 million starting price, the Triton 6600/2 sounds like a great investment for those who can’t get enough of the peaceful and beautiful underwater scenery.
